Automatic on-line elevated library
In the high-voltage battery logistics process, the flow of the three important component modules, the lower shell and the finished battery products accounts for about 70 % of the overall logistics flow. If the standard flow process is used, the logistics operation of the internal warehouse needs to be divided into four steps: receiving goods, temporary storage, marshalling yard and line edge, which requires a large logistics area, and the actual resources can not meet the demand, and the higher flow will lead to the mutual interference of the shoveling routes.
In order to solve this problem, the logistics team coordinated the work stations of the above three important parts to be close to the logistics area in the early planning. By using the automatic on-line elevated library equipment, the functions of caching, grouping and on-line were centralized, and the automatic on-line caching process with empty boxes was realized. In actual operation, materials can be stored directly in the elevated warehouse after they are received at the crossing. The elevated warehouse has a power guide rail mechanism inside. According to the first-in-first-out principle of parts, the materials are automatically transported to the upper line end, picked up by the stacker as needed, and the empty boxes will be automatically returned to the outlet through the stacker and roller line. The automation and three-dimensional of the whole process have successfully saved the logistics area of the internal warehouse and the operators.
This project is an innovation in standard logistics processes and methods under specific conditions. In the process of advancing this project, the logistics team has accumulated valuable experience, including large-scale equipment infrastructure project management, material box and automation matching technology, logistics equipment safety and so on. With the deepening of industry 4.0, logistics will face more opportunities and challenges of intelligence and high automation. This project experience will lay a good foundation for the next MEB plant project.
