Jingdong UAV Research and Development Center, which is affiliated to Jingdong X Division, is a forward-looking research organization focused on exploring the future direction of logistics development by means of UAV.

Since its establishment in October 2015, JD.com has applied for more than 100 patents, and has done a lot of technical practice and accumulation in flight control, active obstacle avoidance, intelligence and cluster flight. Jingdong has worked closely with Shaanxi Province to create the world's first global logistics demonstration province, and set up a complete practice scenario for unmanned aerial vehicle application and supervision in China, and gradually build an unmanned aerial vehicle intelligent logistics network integrating heaven and earth.
