Key Technologies of Flexible Automation Scheme and Its Development Direction
The Combination of Soft and Hard & System Engineering
The unmanned warehouse construction project is neither a pure software project nor a pure hardware project, but a system project. From process design to hardware design and software design, comprehensive consideration is needed to realize efficient operation. Logistics flexible automation technology includes hardware and software coordination, end-to-end design, and convertibility, robustness and flexibility.
IOT ( Internet of Things ) and Edge Computing ( Edge Computing )
The rookie has a lot of investment in IOT. At the 2018 Global Smart Logistics Summit, Cainiao announced the full launch of the logistics IOT strategy and released the world's first " future park" based on logistics IOT. This is also the first time IOT, edge computing and artificial intelligence technologies have been applied in the logistics field on a large scale.
Unmanned warehouse is the standard of the future logistics park and also a very good input point for IOT technology, including data collection, data analysis and predictive maintenance.
Robot technology
Robots of all types and functions are undoubtedly the main characters in the unmanned cabin. There are more than 500 AGV's in the rookie's unmanned warehouse working in multiple reservoirs. The three most important points of robot technology are perception, planning and execution.
Large - scale Multi - agent Planning and Scheduling Technology
In order to realize flexible automation in warehouse, robots must work together. In order to maximize storage production efficiency and shorten order processing time, AGV needs to be jointly mobilized, task assigned, path planned, and resources reasonably allocated and optimized, which involves large-scale planning and allocation technology.
There are usually two solutions to resource allocation, one is a central planning solution. First, a model should be established to collect all kinds of data, including the location of each robot and each cargo, and the maximum stock-out quantity per unit time can be solved through data distribution analysis. Novice uses this solution in a relatively small warehouse.
In a large warehouse, such as a rookie's unmanned warehouse, another solution is adopted - resource distribution bidding. There are a lot of robots and shelves in big warehouse, which can carry out various combinations to complete the picking task. Robots and shelves can be simulated as a task, and whoever wins will do the task. The key technology of this is the design of bidding strategy. It is more suitable to connect the upstream and downstream of a large warehouse in a tight and tightly coupled environment. Because the upstream decision may affect the last decision, it is difficult to make all the decisions that run through the upstream and downstream.
The key technologies involved in intelligent planning and scheduling include Swarm Intelligence, Resource Allocation, Path Planning, Traffic Control, etc.
