The annual leading industrial events in Asia-Pacific region, PTC ASIA, ComVac ASIA and CeMAT ASIA grandly open at the Shanghai New International Expo Center this morning. Different from the previous editions, this year's shows, according to customer demands, have divided display categories, segmented markets and focused on "intelligent manufacturing”. The fairs attract nearly 1,700 well-known companies at home and abroad to interpret the advanced manufacturing innovations and further consolidating the role of the shows as a benchmark for the development of the industry. Cold Chain ASIA, Heavy Machinery ASIA and Industrial Supply ASIA will also be held concurrently. The six shows cover a total display area of more than 130,000 square meters.

In recent years, raising the level of intelligence in manufacturing has become a common topic of countries around the world. "Intelligent manufacturing" has become the key to the landing of "Made in China 2025". In this regard, Gary Liu, the Managing Director of Hannover Milano Fairs China said, "The current global manufacturing industry is actively restructuring and upgrading toward intelligent manufacturing by relying on innovation drives, thus to achieve the new breakthrough from ‘manufacturing’ to ‘intelligent manufacturing’. As the most influential international industrial brand show in the Asia Pacific region, PTC ASIA has found a firm footing through continuous innovation. This year’s show adds two more sectors, focuses on Chinese enterprises, and facilitates intelligent manufacturing in China. It has attracted over 1,000 exhibitors from over 20 countries and regions of Germany, France, Korea, Turkey, Spain, Italy and China Taiwan to display scientific research and innovative products and technologies in mechanical transmission, fluid transmission, bearings, and gears. NTN, the world’s famous precision bearing manufacturer, NGC, a high-precision transmission manufacturer which has participated in the exhibition for the first time and Intra-Italia, a professional manufacturer of hydraulic motor all showcase their new products for the first time on the site. Two new sectors of gear equipment and innovative application of power transmission products highlight “application of power transmission”, striving to embody product innovation in gear drive and electric drive, extend industry chain, and meet the demands of upstream and downstream customers for visiting and purchasing. A large number of well-known brands such as Nord, Bonfiglioli, Hangzhou Advance Gearbox, Lenze, IWIS, ContiTech, EATON, Argo-Hytos, VTOZ, Guorui Hydralic, Nanjing Electromechanical, KEDA, EMC, Dichtomatik, NTN, C&U, UBC, CHINA SPRING, Wanneng, Shangbiao and Hewei interpret the "Wisdom" of “Industrie 4.0" altogether.

It is worth mentioning that ComVac ASIA 2016 embraces the first 10-year milestone. With the continuous expansion of the influence and the annual increase of trade negotiations, many compressor manufacturers treasure the added value brought by the show. This year, over a hundred well-known companies, including KOBELCO, Baosi, HANBELL, BAUER, BUMA, UNITED OSD, COMPS, Dongya, ECOAIR will show up as exhibitors which makes the show an indispensable annual event in the industry.

With the widespread application of automation in the logistics industry, "intelligent manufacturing" has brought new changes to the logistics field. CeMAT ASIA 2016 presents a large number of system integrators, logistics robots, electric forklifts and intelligent logistics products, and attracts more than 500 industry giants to gather in Shanghai. Industry giants such as Daifuku, SSI Schaefer, Dematic, Swisslog, TGW, Murata, Vanderland, SFA, Autostore, BMHRI, RIAMB, CSIC, SIASUN, NTI, Vstrong, Gaoke bring advanced system integration equipment; the intelligent logistics robot display area has an all-round interpretation of the important role of intelligent robots in the logistics industry; national intelligent forklift leaders including Hangcha, Crown, Linde, JHL, BYD, XGMA, EP and Ruyi  present the concept of intelligent environmental protection of "electric forklift" which has become the market favorite.

In addition, over one hundred industry experts and scholars will be invited to discuss in a series of professional and technical seminars focusing on the popularization and application of the “Industrie 4.0" in all sectors. Important activities include FSC Industrial Parts Sourcing Conference, UNITY Innovation Day, Gear Reducer Technology Innovation and Application Seminar, VDMA Smart Manufacturing Forum, Fastener Sourcing Event, the Seminar on the Transformation & Upgrading of Gear Manufacturing Industry and CeMAT ASIA Innovation Salon, the 1^st China Industrial Truck Innovation Award (CITIA), Industry Development Forum of Intelligent Logistics Warehouse Robot 2016, Food Supply Chain and Central Kitchen. During the shows, over 100 buyer groups are expected to visit and purchase at the shows.
