The weather in Shanghai is clear and mild in October. With temperatures between 15°C and 22°C. The rainy season ends in this month, but some rain can still be expected. With Shanghai being close to the sea, the humidity still averages around 75% in fall. 

The SNIEC fairground is located in Pudong district of Shanghai, which is east of the Huangpu river. Due to the convenient connection to all tourist areas with means of public transportation, we recommend participants of PTC ASIA to find a hotel in Pudong. Most sightseeing spots, bars and restaurants are located in districts of Jing’An, Xuhui and Huangpu.
